To promote early detection of the dementing illness; offer persons with dementia an opportunity to live at home by providing respite care and knowledge on family caregiving skills; facilitate access to multidisciplinary assessment and appropriate care; enhance the quality of life of the affected and their family members and to promote public awareness and community education on brain health.
