Employment Support & Training Center for Persons with Hearing Impairment

The Center aims to provide job skill training for persons with hearing impairment, and to enable them to secure jobs and work independently in open employment. Vocational guidance, job matching and job skill training courses will be provided for them. Moreover, under the Job Interview Interpreter Scheme, volunteers will be trained to help the hearing impaired prepare job interviews, and to provide sign language interpretation service during job interviews. And under the Peer Counselling Scheme for Hearing Impaired Persons, peer counsellors will be trained to help them handle interpersonal relationships problems encountered in their work places.
