Hospital Play Service at Princess Margaret Hospital

Through play, children are empowered to face challenges of illnesses, including better psychologically preparation for medical procedures and anxiety generated by treatment and hospitalisation. In this project, the Hospital Play Specialists provide therapeutic play service to child patients in Princess Margaret Hospital. With more positive experience towards hospitalisation, the rate of recovery will likely be expedited and the negative effects of hospitalisation to the child patients will be minimised.
