Event Cancellation Announcement
In view of the current social situations and possible traffic complications, for the safety of all participants and voluntary groups, New Territories Walk - Heung Yuen Wai Highway, scheduled on 17 November 2019 will be cancelled.

The Community Chest of Hong Kong
The Community Chest has been serving Hong Kong for half a century, striving its best to raise funds for its social welfare member agencies in helping the needy in our community.
In 2019/2020, The Community Chest will allocate HK$39.25 million to support 24 member agencies in providing “Family and Child Welfare Services”. 100% of the funds raised through the Walk programme will be designated to maintain and strengthen family bonding, to encourage mutual support relationship among family members; to help them prevent and cope with individual or family problems; as well as to provide services for their unmet needs.

Route | : | The Walk starts from the south portal of Cheung Shan Tunnel of Heung Yuen Wai Highway to Lin Ma Hang Road Interchange, then return to the south portal of Cheung Shan Tunnel. Total distance is approximately 7.8 km and it normally takes around 2 hours to complete. |
Donation Target | : | Each participant to raise HK$500 or above by appealing sponsorship from friends and relatives |
Remarks: Shuttle Bus transfer to and from the Start and Finish Points will be provided to all participants with valid Walk Passes. Participants are required to follow the designated boarding time to the Start Point.
Due to limited quota for this walk, pre-event enrolment is required. Participants who have made donation of HK$500 or above will be provided with a valid Walk Pass for shuttle bus transfer arranged by the Organiser.
Limited quota, enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis.
