Project Detail

Bradbury Parents Resource Centre offers a variety of services to provide emotional support and practical advice to parents and relatives of people with disabilities on how to raise their disabled dependants and to develop potential of the service users. The existing groups include: The Self-help Group for Parents of Children with Autism, the Down’s Dancing Group, Parent Support Group and the Volunteer Group of the 84th Kowloon Scout Group. The objective of the groups is to promote the spirit of mutual support and self-help among parents and the care-givers. The group leaders are trained to take charge of their duties and to empower other service users. It is believed that through various group activities, all members will be able to gather their strengths collectively to face the challenges arising from the caring of their family members with disabilities.
