Project Cotton Tree - Employment and Support Service for Teenage Mother

The project aims at enhancing the health level and employment skills of young mothers and their children living in Southern and Eastern District in post-natal period through counselling, employment training and work placement service.  One social worker will be employed to provide home visits and post-natal counselling to the teenage mothers with young children (around 0 – 6 months), and follow-up service will be provided upon the assessment made.  Employment training such as instructor training in messy play, playgroup or baby massage will also be provided with jobs opportunities to strengthen their resilience in facing future challenges and help them to sustain their life and employability.
