Engage for Change – Internship and Mentoring for Empowering the Youth Living in Poverty

“Engage for Change” is an integrated 3-year project which aims at assisting the underprivileged youth and youth under the unfavourable social and economic situation by engaging the privileged community to provide sustainable social capital to narrow the poverty gap.  Three project components, including mentorship, internship and community partnership programme which benefit both the deprived youth and children, are intertwined around the project.  Stakeholders including beneficiaries, their family members, individuals and corporates would be engaged to facilitate mutual help.  The project aims to address the needs of the underprivileged, effectively amplify community support and become a pioneer model to be implemented in districts all over Hong Kong in the long run.
