Enhanced Programme Provision in Sports Skateboarding, Cricket and Rugby

Operation Breakthrough's purpose is to help, rehabilitate and positively reinforce young people who are at risk by using sports and other related activities in order to steer young people at risk away from a life of crime and deterring first time offenders from re-offending. Programmes are in the most part delivered by volunteer police officers and Operation Breakthrough alumni. Giving children positive interaction with police officers or those who have faced similar challenges and overcome them, in a safe environment, is a unique experience and one that contributes to creating bonds of support and friendship.
