CORE Home Enhancement Project (CORE Project)

The CORE Home Enhancement Project provides low-income elders in Tai Po District with subsidies of up to HKD 5,000, based on home environment assessments conducted by occupational therapists.  The funding supports improvements across four key areas - Cleaning, Organising, Repairing and Enhancement - to strengthen home safety and functionality.  In addition to physical modifications, the project incorporates practical guidance and hands-on support to reduce the risk of domestic accidents.  Through this integrated approach, the project empowers elders to maintain safe living environments, supports independent living, and promotes sustainable ageing-in-place.
