"Bridging Generations‧Family with Love" Intergenerational Care Support Project for Families with SEN Children

This project supports families in which grandparents care for suspected or diagnosed SEN children through interdisciplinary collaboration between occupational therapists and social workers.  Grounded in Sensory Integration and Polyvagal theories, the programme offers grandparent training, pain management, grandparent-grandchild multi-sensory play, three generation family activities and consultation.  These services aim to enhance grandparents’ caregiving capacity and confidence, strengthen intergenerational bonds, promote family harmony, and raise community awareness for a more caring and inclusive society.
