The rapidly advancing technology not only makes our lives more convenient but also promotes charitable work, benefiting more people in society. As an organization that moves with times, the Community Chest is delighted to collaborate with Tencent Charity Foundation (Tencent Foundation) to raise more funds to support those in need.

Tencent Foundation has always strived to connect and support the community with technology. This year, Tencent Foundation’s 99 Giving Day continue to encourage the public to join hands with the “Little Safflower” to do good deeds, benefiting the vulnerable and people in need.

From 1 to 10 September 2023, Tencent Foundation will provide a 1:1 monetary match for donations made to the Chest’s general donation and Rainbow Fund through WeChat Pay HK. All raised funds, without deduction of administrative expenses, will be allocated in full to support diverse and pertinent social welfare services provided by the Chest’s 168 member agencies for those in need in Hong Kong.

Technology has made an immensely positive impact on people’s everyday lives; the Chest would like to express its sincere gratitude to Tencent Foundation for its generosity and support.
