The Community Chest is committed to addressing imminent needs in society. With the tremendous support of individual and corporate donors, over $220 million was raised in the 2023/2024 campaign year.  All funds raised, without deduction of administrative expenses, will be allocated to support social services provided by more than 160 member agencies as well as designated funds set up for special purposes.

At the Annual Awards Ceremony held at Government House on Friday, 27 September 2024, the Chest recognised major corporate donors and individuals for their generous contributions. Mrs Janet Lee, President of the Chest, officiated at the event and presented awards to the Top Ten Donors, awardees in three special categories and the President’s Award. “Since its inception, the Community Chest has stayed true to its founding vision of gathering resources to help the less fortunate in our community.” Mrs Lee said.
