The Community Chest Corporate Challenge 2025 was successfully held on 12 January at Sai Kung Pak Tam Chung Country Park. The Half Marathon and 10K Run attracted nearly 750 runners to form over 90 corporate teams to run for a charity cause. About HK$4.4 million was raised to support the Rehabilitation & Aftercare Services funded by the Chest.
The Community Chest Corporate Challenge Organising Committee was led by Co-Chairmen Mr Thomas Kwok, Dr Edward W Y Cheung and Mr Carmelo K S Lee. This year, Dr Cheung again showed his support by joining the Half Marathon.
The Chest is deeply grateful to Sun Hung Kai Properties for its full support, and other sponsors of the event including Woo Kwan Lee & Lo, The Royal Garden and Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings Limited. Their generosity has allowed the Chest to put every dollar raised to charitable use without deduction of event expenses. A special thanks also goes to Co-Organiser Athletic Veterans of Hong Kong for their professional advice and assistance over the years.
In 2024/2025, The Community Chest has allocated over HK$83 million to support 125 programmes of Rehabilitation & Aftercare Services provided by the Chest’s social welfare member agencies.
