This “life line” provides 24-hour counselling and crisis support for victims of family violence. The hotline is supported by a professional social worker team and trained volunteers. Risk assessment, crisis counselling, safety plan formulation, referral to community resources and immediate admission to the shelter is arranged as appropriate.
