Project Detail

The Tele-digital Library is the world’s first digital voice library for the visually impaired. It is a highly automatic system, capable of delivering reading materials in audio format via telephone or Internet so as to cater to the reading need of the visually impaired. With it, the visually impaired have the equal opportunity for the access of information from Internet. During reading, users can adjust the volume and speed, move forward and backward and make bookmarks. This system currently supports Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Japanese and Korean.
