The Community Chest Tai Po Fire Relief Fund

In view of the severe impact caused by the tragic fire at Tai Po Wang Fuk Court, the Chest has set up the "The Community Chest Tai Po Fire Relief Fund".  Every dollar raised, with no deduction for administrative expenses, will provide urgent financial assistance to families and individuals impacted by the fire.

 

The Community Chest is collaborating with member agencies' assessment centres in Tai Po and North District to disburse HK$20,000 emergency aid to each affected household.  Through the Social Welfare Department, HK$50,000 condolence payment will be made to each bereaved family.  The Chest will continue to closely monitor the situation and work with all stakeholders to ensure that families affected by this tragedy will receive timely assistance.

 

The Chest welcomes corporate and individual donors to make donations to support "The Community Chest Tai Po Fire Relief Fund" to help the people in need.
