Project Detail

The project is the first cross-disciplinary outreaching service team to provide one-stop health services to homeless people on streets and deprived targets, including middle-aged singleton, hidden elderly, ethnic minorities, single-parent families, who are living in unsuitable accommodation like bed-spaces, sub-divided units, cubicles and temporary shelters.  District service providers, churches and NGOs are collaborated to cater the holistic needs of the deprived communities, create a favourable environment to enhance personal motivation and positive changes, arouse their bio-psycho-mental health concerns and promote healthy lifestyle.  The project also addresses the mental health issue of "Hoarding Disorder" and facilitates a volunteer movement, building trust and network from different sector and disciplinary from professional parties to personal capacity, to enhance social support to homeless people and deprived communities.
